This Privacy Policy describes how Chess PGN Trainer ("the App") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a secure user experience.

1. Information Collection and Use

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. This data is primarily used to provide core app functionality, analyze performance, and manage in-app subscriptions and virtual credits.

2. Account Registration and Sign In

To provide personalized features, cross-device syncing, and secure access to your purchased credits, the App allows you to create an optional account using "Sign in with Apple."

• Data Collected: When you use this feature, we collect your name and email address (or the private relay email address provided by Apple).

• How it is used: This information is used strictly for account management, authenticating your identity, and ensuring your purchased credits and PGN data are securely linked to your profile via our Firebase database.

• Account Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time via the "Delete Account" option within the App's settings.

3. Third-Party Service Providers & Data Storage

We utilize the following third-party services to operate the App, process transactions, and securely store your data. These providers have their own Privacy Policies:

• Google Firebase (Database, Auth, Analytics & Crashlytics): We use Firebase databases to securely store and sync your purchased "Credits" and track point consumption across your devices. We also use Firebase to handle optional user authentication, monitor app usage patterns, and track technical stability. Firebase Privacy Policy

• RevenueCat: Used to manage in-app purchases, verify subscription status, and issue credits. RevenueCat processes transaction data but does not store your credit card information. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

• Apple: All financial transactions are processed securely through Apple's App Store system. Apple Privacy Policy

4. In-App Purchases and Virtual Credits

When you purchase points or credits within the App, transaction identifiers are processed via RevenueCat. Your resulting credit balance and consumption history are stored securely in our Firebase database. This allows your credits to remain synced and available across any devices where you use the App. We do not have access to your personal financial details or credit card information.

5. Open Source & On-Device Processing

The App utilizes the Stockfish Chess Engine and ChessKit libraries for game analysis. The App also uses graphic assets by JohnPablok. These components operate locally on your device. Chess analysis and PGN processing do not transmit your personal gameplay data to external servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Chess PGN Trainer does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take necessary actions to delete that information.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
